Body Awareness Check-In

Time to tune into your body.

Place awareness on your body and how it feels right here and now.

Ask yourself: Are you aware of your body? Aware of how you are sitting/standing? Aware of the surface supporting you? Are you leaning on one side more than the other?

In normal life - often we are not aware!

Take a moment to connect with your body.

If you are standing, how does the floor feel beneath your feet?

If you are sitting, can you feel the chair supporting you?

Eyes open or closed, whatever is most comfortable for you.

Tune in to these body sensations for 1 minute for a quick ‘check in’.

Awareness of your body is important. It brings your attention into the present moment.

We miss so much of our lives because we aren’t present to notice our own experience. Practising embodied mindfulness helps to bring your attention to this present moment, and reunites you with your body!
